~ This sort of wild, lonely, street shadow cat is the perfect reflection of my current self. Observing, apart, wild and free but alone. Wanting comfort and warmth but remaining on the prowl because the street, while silent and menacing is still the evil we know. To be vulnerable within warm walls, to get comfortable, to settle down….is to invite fate to strip all the good away and leave us even emptier than before. Vulnerable. Naked. Wanting and alone. I’ll never give voice to wanting you to hold me tight.
